Hi! I'm Heather Hertaus; I am a Chiropractic Assistant for Bodywise Chiropractic Center. I am certified as a ChiropracticAssistant and also have certification to take x-rays. I received by Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Sociology, with a Psychology minor, from St. Cloud State University in 2001 and graduated Summa Cum Laude. I also have an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from North Hennepin Community College. I am married to my husband, Ron, and we have two boys, Jonah and Rowan. I love to play with my kids, read, travel, visit with friends, take walks with my family, and play games.
I have worked for Bodywise Chiropractic Center since 2004, and have 3 years previous experience at another chiropractic clinic. I am passionate about educating people about how chiropractic care can improve the quality of their lives because I have seen it transform the health of myself, my family, and so many of our practice members! I love my career for many reasons, but I especially love working with people! I look forward to meeting new practice members and helping current members on their journey to wellness!
Kristen MattsonFront Office Coordinator
When I first started working at Bodywise, I knew very little about chiropractic care. After nearly 2 1/2 years later, I have witnessed firsthand the incredible results that people have experienced with Dr. Dan and Dr. Chris.
The best part of my job is working with our incredible patients. I’ve seen patients barely able to walk, start to feel better and become more mobile and I have an opportunity to help any way I can. I love that I get to see the progress each person has made with their wellness journey.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family; my husband and two teenage children. I love reading, watching movies and spending as much time as possible outdoors during our (too short!) summer season.
Karen ShutropBilling Office
Hello, I’m Karen the Billing Coordinator here at Bodywise Chiropractic Center. I have my Associates of Applied Science in Medical Administration. I have several years’ experience working in many different health offices, most of which I also did insurance billing.
My first experience with a chiropractor was when I was 13 and involved in an auto accident. I have been a patient at a few different facilities. One of the things I like most about our clinic is the different therapies we offer to our patients. For me the most satisfying part of my job is having the opportunity to help our Veterans.
On my time off I enjoy cruising around the world with my husband, spending time with my son and his new wife, riding motorcycle, scrapbooking, and camping.
